My family ordered 3 dishes. All of that really is good taste. Meat and frise was so fresh.

Got the brisket and rib plate, with potato salad and green beans. Brisket and beans were what you'd expect, potato salad was a little sweet for my taste. But the ribs, they were probably the best ribs I've ever had. Fall off the bone tender, and more smoke flavor than any ribs I've had. I also got a side of the extra spicy barbecue sauce, which was also next level. Pretty sweet, not melt your face off hot, a lot of the spice seemed to be from black pepper, and it had a strong chili powder taste. I loved it. Great service, as well. I'll definitely be back.

Upon arrival, my group was welcomed with lavish gestures of homecoming, as if we had been a long awaited guest. They blew a large horn of some sort, which gathered many neighborhood onlookers. It seemed as though the whole town of Jackson came out to see the honored guests be served at this fine BBQ establishment. After a bib was tied ever so delicately around each of our necks, the restaurant went completely dark. A lone spotlight came alive with a loud click, and it burned with the rage of seven suns. The spotlight illuminated a large man in a chefs hat and what appeared to be a pig costume. He ceremoniously danced and shouted as he sharpened his knife. I was simultaneously filled with fear and awe as I watched this magic pig chef do his BBQ dance. A large pig was carted out, bound at both sets of feet. As the pig chef raised his cold instrument of death, the room fell silent as we waited for the eventual plunge that it would make into the flesh of our soon to be dinner. Just before the deed was to be done, the lights came back on, the chef and the pig we're hidden behind a curtain. Gentle R&B ballads began whispering in my ear, and you could barely hear the slaughtering of the pig from behind the curtain. Dinner from that point on went just as you would expect. The beans were great.

Y'all must be hard up for BBQ in Jackson. There was absolutely no smoke ring on any of the meat, the sauce didn't even register on my palate and they got like, 5 sides, three of which are beans? Plus, it took like half an hour for our food to come out (we all ordered BBQ, the meat should be done) - I get that the place was understaffed, but come on. Additionally, they sat us next to an open garage door on a chilly afternoon.

Warm and friendly atmosphere. Great food and service. Networking with business associates all while listening to karaoke made it fun filled as well!

The beans were good, the toast too, and it's a nice space. But that's about all the good things I can say.
