No problems with the food and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered here. Chips and queso are a must when it comes to appetizers.
Food was good & reasonably priced but not worth 3 hours of my life. We arrived at 7:15 & we weren't seated until 8:08 after being told 25 minutes for a wait time. Only reason we were seated at all is because we told them to stop trying to seat our group together which was received with exasperation. Apparently them being able to force us into a required 18% gratuity was more important then seating us in a timely manner. We finally were seated & it took another 15 minutes just to get a server to take our drink order. We hurriedly ordered food as we were unsure of when we'd be waited on again. 3 other tables were seated & received their drinks before ours arrived(2 kids waters, 2 sodas & 1 beer) food finally arrived & was as ordered but our sides of ranch were forgotten, we asked for them four times with 2 separate servers & finally received one when we asked for 3. (The other half of our party was seated on the other side of the restaurant & they were finished eating & had paid before we even received our meals.) Their signage should be removed because service is not their strong point & is blatant false advertising or they are just ignorant. Wouldn't recommend that dive to anyone in a hurry but if you want to be there for 3 hours with hungry toddlers & be ignored & avoided by your server this is the place for you.
Don't bother. This was an overpriced, annoying experience. I sat at the bar, and despite it being almost empty, the barmaid was overwhelmed. She was in perpetual motion, yet the service was horrible. Not her fault, she was overwhelmed. It took forever for my meal to come out. I ordered a glass of wine when I got there, thinking I'd have at least some of it with my meal. But my dinner took forever to come out. When it did come out, it was under cooked. She took just the steak back. It took forever to get it back! I asked for some butter for the so-called loaded baked potato, which consisted of a few sprinkles of cheese and some sour cream. She didn't bring it. Also asked for another glass of over priced wine, didn't get it. The steak was very grizzled and fatty. There is an LBD tax added to your bill, in addition to sales tax. No one could tell me what that was. I know restaurants make their money on alcohol, but $6/glass for this type of restaurant is outrageous. And then to have $1.80 LBD tacked on is unbelievable. Total waste of time and money. I asked to speak to a manager. She gave me coupons to use when I'm not so mad at them... her words. I stood outside and asked people if they were local. When I found someone not so suspicious of me, I gave him the $20 worth of coupons. Will never go one again.
Drinks were good. Service slow then a mug! Nice waiter!
Great place with a homey atmosphere and food even when it’s rather busy.
I almost always have a pleasant experience at Cheddar's. The food and drinks are delicious (my favorites are the salads and Peach Bellini) and the prices are reasonable. It is a good place for all families, but it can be really busy on weekends.
Been here on the busiest of days and the wait is usually never very long. Especially if you have a small party (2 or 3).
