I usually love this place but! I ordered red beans and rice like always. I got smashed pinto beans and rice was told by server that's red beans and rice. Manager happened to walk by asked about our food and he agreed that is not traditional red beans and rice. I was so disappointed because we were 90 Miles from home and chose to eat there because of their tasty food. Did switch to gumbo. It was better but still something missing. Will be back though.
Redbone' s Grill & Bar in Jackson TN is a great place to go have a good time with family and friends. Great atmosphere. Good music. Food is so good you will want to slap yo momma. Excellent wait staff. Had a nice lady, believe her name was Kaitlin, wait on me and a few friend's one night. Great service. Kept the beers coming and the cheers rolling. Definitely a place to bring the entire family. You won't regret it. We will certainly be coming back!!!!
Redbone's is a down to earth restaurant with great food and service. The decor is minimalistic but it is clean and nice inside; it appears they have live music on the weekends. Kelsey was out waitress and took the time to describe the signature dishes and new items. She also shared her favorites, which was nice. The food was fantastic. The dinner salads were fresh and really good. I had the blackened redfish with dirty rice and my wife had the shrimp and grits both were awesome and plenty to fill you up. Kelsey checked on us often and our drinks were never empty, she even offered to-go drinks when we left. Redbone's was great restaurant for these two out-of-towners!
Surprised to be the only guest in the building. Server was prompt and friendly. Ordered the gator bites, they were pretty tasty. A little on the salt side for this foodie. For my entree I got the rib eye and baked potato. The potato tasted and looked like it was cooked in the micro wave. The steak though was cooked perfectly it lacked seasoning and flavor. As a chef I am a little insulted when my patrons ask for steak sauce. It comes with the steak here. To top it off it was garnished with old dried rosemary sprig. I wouldn't have minded the week old herb had my steak been prepared with a hint of rosemary. It was just garnish. What a waste of a great flavor. To finish my meal I had the bread pudding. This is one of my favorites and something I am known for. Very dense but great flavor.
Came here for the first time tonight; was definitely not disappointed. Great food. Great service. Chill atmosphere. Out waitress Misty was absolutely incredible. She had our food and drinks out fast, Never had an empty glass and she was always on top of things!
