We went with family who have eaten there many times in the past. Today, the meals were mediocre at best. My chicken florentine was made with canned spinach and completely covered in white sauce. Great way to hide the spinach! My husband's "Italian beef" was bland and the bread roll was dry/stale. Lastly, the baked potato may have been baked and reheated several times; it was very hard outside and very dry inside. The service was friendly and the coffee and sweet tea were fine.
Amazing italian food in a good atmosphere. The place is very beautiful and well decorated. The food is tasty and it's not expensive. I really recommend for desert the cannoli! The staff was very helpful and nice.
Last minute late supper after driving all day. We went here due to recommendation by hotel clerk where we were saying. I must say the food was excellent, service was good. Very nice decor and spotless inside.
Italian family owned and original recipes at very good prices. Italian salad dressing is AMAZING. I get an Italian salad at ever time I go. The steaks are high grade beef as well. Toasted ravioli and meat sauce app is to die for. Great bar area too. All your classic Italian dishes are great and the Italian roast beef sandwich with their spicy popper mix and au jus is awesome. Oh, and I forgot the weekend prime rib specials. Superb. You won't be disappointed and if something does, ask for Bob or Thomas; they will make it right.
The bad:
The owner doing an inspection of the dining area while we were eating and really being over bearing on the waitress who could not have been more than 19 years old because a small piece of paper was missed. It seems even the waiter we had was on edge and our heart went out to the waitress across the room. It would have been nice to see the owner not be so militant and developed some people skills for her workers. I cannot express enough how scared this waitress looked and the issue was so minor.
I have eaten there many times several years ago and the food was great. My husband and I dined there this past summer and I was greatly disappointed by the lack of quality of the food. Used to love the spinach side dish it was kinda like a souffle. This time the spinach was dumped out of a can and tasted horrible. The fried zucchini was still good as ever.
