Simply Horrible! Uneatable. That which was not overdone was seasoned strangely. I eat Mexican food several times a week from many different sources. This was the absolute worst Mexican Food ever. The service and the locale was acceptable though noisy.
Los Potarlas is much better food and service. Refried beans are awful at Don Pancho's.
So disappointed in the food that I ordered for take out. Paid a whole lot of money and the food was barely subpar. Beans tasted burnt. Tamales werent what i was expecting (not wrapped typical tamales). Best part of meal was the cheese dip. Mexican rice, laughable. Far from authentic. Enchiladas were nasty. Maybe I will go for margaritas and chips and cheese. Perhaps that cant be messed up.
Enjoying a 32 oz. margarita, sweet tea, chips n queso, and wet burrito. Life is good at Don ponchos.
The worst decision of my day. Arrived at lunch time, took a long time for waiter, when I ordered was told it was now dinner pricing for my lunch special. Informed them that I was there at lunch time but it was there late service. I ordered and waited, and waited and waited. Never got any food. Wasted 40 minutes of my life and left hungry. Totally ridiculous
