Got the Barbie-Q chicken salad sammich. The wife got Sassy Scotty. Both great choices. Would recommend. Given two cookies and a pickle to go with the meal. Nice visit!
I was craving a good chicken salad and Found it! Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere. So glad they opened, wish they would open one in Lexington.
It's a nice looking facility. They have several things on the menu, besides chicken salad. I had the Turkey Club on a croissant, which was good. My side choice was the pasta salad, but it had way too much Italian seasoning for my liking. My wife ordered the Chicken Salad BLT, but they gave her the Chicken Salad and no BLT, but they promptly corrected it. When we were looking for a table, the first two we looked at were very dirty, but they could've been recently vacated, as there is a constant ebb and flow through the doors. It is pricey when you think in terms of getting a sandwich. Our 2 sandwiches, with sides, and a drink, were $23 and some change. Something is being built next door. I wonder if it'll be called "Tuna Salad Dude."
Decent food. Clean and bright environment. Good value for the money. Sandwiches are fresh but the chicken salads all taste too much alike. It's good but the ingredients just don't set them apart. Soups were ok. Overall tho, there are other places in Jackson with better chicken salads.
I have only ate here once before. I decided before I made my mind up I would try it again and.....again was disappointed. It is WAY overpriced for a sandwich and a order of Mac & cheese for what I got. The sandwich has very little chicken salad on it at all and then they take it and Smash it as hard as they can it looks like to spread the chicken salad out(more bread than anything). The Mac and cheese is good but again way over priced will go down the road next time and get more food still good taste for less money.
