Clay Goodrich is a VERY unprofessional individual. First, as someone on another review before me stated, he would constantly call and text me the same way even after i would let him know that i was busy or at a family function, which is VERY innapropiate to me. When it came to things that were supposed to have been done he just ignored then as if they were never brought to his attention. And in moving out he gave me the run around about my security deposit and just flat out lied about damage done JUST so he wouldn't have to give it back. He stated that he couldn't give it back because of "more than normal" wear and tear to the carpet, floors, and walls but failed to recognize that the carpet and damage that he is referring to was addressed and he failed to replace it. Another issue is that he stated i had dogs which according to the lease were not allowed. True dogs were not allowed but when I got the dog his exact words were "I don't mind you having them as long as they don't tear anything up. Not to mention that they were ALWAYS in the backyard and NEVER in the home and he lied and said that there were fleas throughout the house. My daughter is allergic to them so as far as them being inside is a ridiculous bold face ass lie! When he informed me on not receiving the security deposit back, he texted me instead of calling I called him right back and he declined my call. I called from another number and he answers. I go to the office that same day to ask questions about what he "claims" he saw and he dodges me leaving the receptionist to tell me that he wouldn't be in until later, him not knowing that she had just told me he was about 15 minutes away from the office. If I had to do it all over again I would have moved to another property when he became the owner of my house. He's sorry, low down, prejudice, and a bold face LIE!! I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone!!
I recently lost my niece 13 years of age...because of the sudden accident I had to rush out of town for 2 weeks and I didn't pay my rent however I'm more than aware that as a grown woman I have to pay my bills and I am more than willing to do so even if I have to pay the late fee ..the problem I'm having is that even after talking with MGM about this situation he continues to call or text me as if I'm a child or as if I'm lying and we have discussed the dates when I would be paying my bill and that date has,not yet came or went but everyday or other day literally he calls or text and I find that to be disrespectful and I'm not sure if it's because of the color of my skin or he just flat out doesn't trust me but I'm positive that the law is if I don't pay my rent he can put me out or even sue me but isn't it a law for being harassed by the property manager? I haven't even been here 6 months and every situation that came up as far as my niece and nephews I told him in advance even about me possibly having to get custody of them ....
