The people at the front desk were extremely snobby and rude. The doctors were no better. My son ended up seeing three different doctors there with the same results. Dr. Self act as if he didn't want to touch my baby. Dr. Amy Self was kind but she didn't act as if my sick infant was a priority of hers and Dr. Manley was not kind. He sent my son home dehydrated and with RSV. Thank God I used my mother intuition and took him on to LeBohneur.
I would--and do!-- recommend this office to anyone looking for a pediatrician in the Jackson area.
They have an excellent team of doctors, and although we primarily use Dr Amy, we have seen other doctors in the practice and were pleased with the care provided each time. I don't think we've ever spent more than maybe 2 hours there, even if we took all 3 kids with us! The facility is clean, well maintained, and the staff is courteous and professional.
if it wasn't for the fact that we like Dr. Amelia Self and her nurses so much I would have changed doctors for my kids years ago, but for now I just take them there when they need their checkups and if they are sick we go to Physicians Quality Care cause there at least I don't have to deal with anyone being rude.

all the doctors and nurses there are GREAT!!! however I only gave it 3 stars because while the medical staff is awesome the staff that works at the front desk are often rude and snobby with us. they are difficult when you need to schedule appointments for your sick child and try to make you feel like you are inconveniencing them when you ask them to see if an appointment is open instead of asking to speak with a nurse and that is if they are even willing to do it instead of just transferring you to leave a message anyway.
This is the best pediatrician office in west Tennessee as far as I'm concerned. My husband and I have been taking our kids here for ~5 years and have never had any problems. Before using Dr Amy, we took our oldest to UT Family group by Jackson General and it was terrible! You never knew what doctor you were going to see, it was impossible to get in and out in less than 3-4 hours, and the whole office seemed cluttered and crowded. None of those things are issues at the Children's Clinic.
Very disrespectful . I took my son there for 6 months and the front desk staff interaction with me was snobby no matter how friendly I was with them. They would ignore me at the desk, make me wait to check in and complain if I paid in cash among other things. I've seen them be rude to other clients as well.
