Honest Abe. Autozone said I needed a new battery and since the connector was bad they could not replace it. Gateway said it is just the connector and did not sell me a battery I did not need. Out the door for $22!
We were traveling from out of town and awoke to a low tire in the hotel parking lot. Saw Gateway as we drove out looking for help on a cold and rainy day. We were ushered into a bay quickly. I had to ask the tech to look for the reason that the tire was low, but once I did, he was quick to find the problem, ask if I wanted it repaired, and fix the tire. The staff inside were so very courteous. It would have been easy for a less ethical establishment to charge us heavily for a repair, or even try to convince us that the tire was irreparable. Instead, they fixed the tire quickly and sent us on our way. The staff was friendly, professional, and did the right thing...fast! We were back on the road quickly. Thanks for being an outstanding business!
We were on our way from San Antonio to Cleveland when we started losing air in one of our tires. After stopping at another tire dealer, who couldn't get to it for an hour, we went to Gateway. These guys had us in the bays within minutes and found a 3 inch wood screw buried in the tire. They were courteous, friendly and explained everything they did. They had us back on the road in 30 minutes. Fantastic! Thank you all.
DO NOT bring you car here! They do poor work and do not stand behind it. They will also try to sell you thing you don't need. Told me my tires could not be rotated. Took it to best one tire who had no issue rotating the tires that gateway put on. I would not use this shop. Not only have I had problema here I also know at least 20 other people who have as well. The used to be a good shop. I am not sure why but all of thier good techs all abandoned this shop at once and were replaced by people who do not know what they are doing or once willing to rip people off. ( especially ladys) Please drive down the road to any other shop! King Tire or Best One tire are both good.
