SUPPORTING VETERAN SMALL BUSINESSES: the Jackson, TN Chamber of Commerce and the Black Business Association held a SBA conference at the College's Auditorium in conjunction with representatives from the SBA (the leading presenter) and several non-profit and lending institutions providing SBA Contracting information, business development training and lending institution's insight and guidance of financing new businesses. Also in attendance was the Jackson, TN Chapter of AARP in a organization and support capacity, This was an informative and hands on two-day event that not only attracted Veteran SBA's but WO SBA's. Many left with valuable information, support contacts, and new networking opportunities.
