Great place to go for local food. It's downtown next to Blacksmith, Rockn Dough, Amp, Dog Walk, Grubbs, and other downtown stuff. Get an Amish donut, grab a Ligares local roast coffee, sit down and play some chess courtesy of Jackson Chess club. Listen to live music while shopping. Has a heated restroom. Really it's pretty great. It's been building with the community.

I go as often as I can, I buy the best fresh local produce, honey, baked goods, meat, milk, cheese, etc. You can also find hand made wooden bowls & cutting boards etc (art pieces) and hand made jewelry as well as preserves, jams, relishes, even flowers. Often there are vendors selling prepared food. Sometimes musicians play for the crowds. It's more than a place to grab greens & sweet potatoes...a fun outdoor market that offers some unusual & quirky items.
I love the market! The vendors have quality products with friendly service. There is usually a musician playing music. It has ample parking, and a great downtown location.
It's a madhouse on Saturdays during the summer, but absolutely worth it. In season, you will find a bounty of delicious local produce, including many options you would never see in a store. The vendors are friendly and helpful.
