Very poor service & experience with this facility!
I live in Oklahoma. My thoughts are on how your department has handled the situation with noah chamberlin. Bravo, to every person. Law enforcement, rescue groups, sheriff's dept. AND THE FAMILY for being so professional in this situation. To the family I am so sorry that this is happening to all of you. My prayers are with each of you and for noah. God bless all of you
Sheriff John Mehr does a poor piss job in the care of the inmates at this facility. Mr. Timothy Lusby had a cellmate. Yet, died on his watch. According to a News Release, an investigation was ongoing with the questioning of his cellmate. Mr. Mehr lied. Neither a TBI nor FBI investigation was done. Mr. Lusby was arrested on BOGUS charges. He was charged with possession of a handgun. The Police Incident Report states a handgun was found in a barbeque grill...Police Officer Cody Smith assumed it was Mr, Lusby's. How could he have had a possession charge? He had No weapon. His staff intentionally neglected care in withholding his medicine, not seeking medical attention, not placing him on suicidal watch. After his injury, it was disclosed that the staff and paramedics stood around to let him die. District Attorney Jerry Woodall, Mr. Mehr, Mr. Tony Emison had no regard for his life. They decided to rush him for autopsy without a concern to inform his relatives. Sheriff Mehr and his staff misplaced evidence, silenced everyone and everything surrounding the death of Mr. Timothy. Its other disclosed detailed information regarding the horrific sudden death of Mr. Lusby . Madison County Sheriff Department and Jackson Police Department deserve no star. They warrant investigation!
