If you look up dive bar in the dictionary, a picture of Sadie Lou will be listed next to the definition. But, the experience is worth the visit. The beer is cold, people are friendly and pool tables plentiful. Definitely different from my home state of California, but that's cool with me.
Great place. Real great people. Owner is very good to customer. I would go there ,8 days a week. Don't pass it up. Ice cold beer.
This place is a Jackson/Bemis classic. Smokey as heck - you will not escape unscathed in terms of clothes smelling to high heaven. But the folks are nice and the the beers are reasonably priced especially while the auto races are on the tube. Pool table takes quarters as does the jukebox, full of old country.
